Let your emotions not obstruct your empowerment: Aparna Jain

“Women should not be obstructed by emotions. They should be confident to face the reality,” advised Zebraa Works CEO Aparna Jain.

Jain who is also a leadership coach was speaking on the topic “Own It: What women do and what we should be doing,” during the Mother Mary Aloysia A.C Fourth Endowment Lecture organised by The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of St Agnes College in association with The Ethel Prabhu foundation at the college premises on Monday, July 2.

In her speech, Jain emphasized that women need to be independent, empowered and confident in taking decisions.

Shilpa who runs mobile canteen Halli Mane Rottis was felicitated with the Ethel Prabhu Women Entrepreneur Award by Amit Prabhu. Shilpa, who has faced many difficulties in life, did not succumb to her circumstances but instead bravely faced challenges to become a successful entrepreneur.

The programme ended with a slide show, motivating women in becoming empowered.

College Principal Sr Jeswina A.C, Vice Principal Sr Venessa and other faculty members were present.
