Flash mob creates awareness on hair donation drive ‘Locks of Love’

Ist year students from Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and dancers from Ocean Kids perform a flash mob to create awareness on hair donation drive ‘Locks of Love’.

With an aim to create awareness on the hair donation drive ‘Locks of Love’ which will be held on September 10, the Ist year students from Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organised a flash mob at the open air stage in St Agnes College on September 6.

Ist year student Shefali spoke on the importance of hair donation and asked students to donate hair at the ‘Locks of Love’ campaign to be held at Forum Fiza Mall.

The flash mob performed by journalism students along with the dance troupe Ocean kids, was cheered by the students from other departments.

The programme ended with Sushma Shetty informing on how the donated hair will be sent to an NGO that makes and distributes free wigs to women and children, suffering from cancer.
