Introduction day for IInd year students turns lively with cartoons

The Introduction day of second year degree students of St Agnes College was all fun and frolic, and held at the College Auditorium on July 11.

The event was themed ‘cartoons’ and one could find decorations from Chhota Bheem to Mr Bean, making the ambience even more lively.

The event began with a blessing by College Principal Sr Jeswina, who also motivated students to deliver their best during their second year in College.

The fun activities followed soon after, with students dressed as Elsa the snow Queen and Maleficent the mistress of all evil, anchoring the show.

A lead dance with students dressed as princesses in ball gowns was followed by a comical skit. In the skit, a Kabaddi match held between the Foreign and the Indian cartoons had the audiences laughing hard.

A twisted cartoon play was presented by BA students, where different characters came together to create a hilarious fairy tale.

The BBA girls presented a dance, while the B Com students organised a ramp walk for the students dressed as cartoons.

While the introductory day was meant to be an ice-breaker, it also formally marked the induction of students to their second year in college.
