Fifty-six students from St Agnes take oath as NCC cadets

Enter Colonel Regi Philipose, commanding officer of 18 Kar BN, Mangaluru with Sr Dr M Jeswina AC, Principal, St Agnes Degree College and Sr M Shamitha AC, Principal, St Agnes PU College and the NCC cadets from St Agnes College.

“NCC makes students physically tough and mentally robust,” said Colonel Regi Philipose, commanding officer of 18 Kar BN, Mangaluru after inaugurating the NCC, Army and Air Wing of St Agnes College (Autonomous) on July 28.

The orientation began with an oath taking ceremony. Colonel Philipose motivated students and said if one feels happy at the end of the day and can sleep in peace, then one can consider life to be successful.

As many as 56 students took oath as NCC cadets. Lt Col Gracian Sequeira, administrative officer of 18 Kar BN, Mangaluru was present during the programme.

Sr Dr M Jeswina AC, Principal, St Agnes Degree College and Sr M Shamitha AC, Principal, St Agnes PU College presided over the programme.
